For example, in the case of tablets, after the human body takes the drug, the drug first needs to be disintegrated and dispersed before it can be dissolved and absorbed, so that the drug can have a therapeutic effect.
Whether the drug can reach the site of action, and the speed and degree of dissolution is directly related to whether the drug is put into clinical use, the national pharmacopoeia of tablets are provided for disintegration time limit check, so as to ensure the effective role of drugs.
However, some studies have found that the in vitro disintegration time of certain drugs does not indicate their effectiveness in vivo. The disintegration time check can only control the initial phase of the drug, but not the subsequent dispersion and dissolution process, so the rate and extent of drug dissolution should be combined with the absorption in vivo.
Maintenance
1, in the process of use, should must ensure that the water level can not be too low, the water level should be higher than the right end of the water tank outlet more than 2cm, if the water level is too low, it is not recommended to turn on the machine.
2, the first time you turn on the use of the water level should be to drop 1cm, note that there are bubbles at the spout, it shows that the heating tank has water, otherwise you can not turn on the machine.
3, after power on, if the instrument's display does not have any digital display, the power indicator does not light, you should check whether the fuse is blown, the power supply voltage is not normal.
4, after the power on, if the display temperature figures appear jumping, you can reduce the turbidity measurement line plug and sensor socket connection is not good.
5, the temperature sensor can not be inserted into the solvent of the dissolution cup, so as to avoid corrosion of the sensor thermistor.
Notes on use
In use, you can press the panel "reset" key to reset the instrument, the general temperature window will return to the state of waiting for the guide, only the current actual temperature of the water bath is displayed. The clock window will often return to the preset state of the regular sampling time, but the values displayed therein are the ones before the reset. Similarly the tachometer window will return to the preset state after the reset, but the previous value displayed, and the operation will stop.
After the dissolution test, the "reset" button should not be pressed at will, and in addition, care should be taken not to press the "select" button on the tachometer window as much as possible to avoid stopping the rotation of the spindle. When the use is over, the instrument and accessories should be cleaned up, and the area around the table should be kept clean.
If the drug dissolution instrument is used for a long time, in order to avoid dust and moisture, you can use a plastic bag to cover the instrument, and regularly power on the instrument.
