In the afternoon of May 21, the 125th anniversary of Zhejiang University, the opening ceremony of Ningbo Zhejiang University Alumni Science and Innovation Park (Ningbo Talent Home) and the “Double Carbon” Academician Forum were successfully held. The event was held successfully.
The event was held in the way of “online + offline”, with Yang Deren, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, president of Ningbo Polytechnic Institute of Zhejiang University, advisor of Ningbo Zhejiang University Alumni Association, Hu Zhengyu, secretary of Party Committee of Ningbo Polytechnic Institute of Zhejiang University, advisor of Ningbo Zhejiang University Alumni Association, Huang Rongcheng, vice minister of Organization Department of Ningbo Municipal Committee and deputy director of Talent Office of Ningbo Municipal Committee, Yinzhou District Committee Standing Committee, Organization Department Minister Yan Shi’en, Yinzhou District Committee Standing Committee, United Front Work Department Minister Dai Huaxiang, Zhejiang Blue Ocean Green Industry Group Co. At the live event, Gao Xiang, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Dean of the School of Energy Engineering of Zhejiang University, delivered a keynote speech via video, and more than 10,000 alumni and young talents of Zhejiang University from many countries and regions around the world attended the meeting online to witness the significant moment of the park opening, listen to the wonderful keynote speech of academicians, and send birthday wishes for the 125th anniversary of their alma mater.
Nie Qihua, the permanent honorary president of Ningbo Zhejiang University Alumni Association, read out a congratulatory letter from Zhejiang University Alumni Association. He expressed his congratulations to the Alumni Association of Zhejiang University in Ningbo for taking the work of dual innovation to a new level, and hoped that the Alumni Association in Ningbo would continue to promote alumni work, gather alumni strength, serve the transformation and industrialization of scientific and technological achievements of the university, and write a new chapter in the construction of “alma mater-alumni” community.
On the day of the event, Ningbo Zhejiang University Alumni Association Entrepreneurship Mentor Group and Entrepreneurship Service Union were officially launched, which will provide precise multi-level and comprehensive services and strong intellectual support for the development of entrepreneurial alumni and alumni enterprises.
As one of the “Ningbo Zhejiang University Alumni Association Entrepreneurial Mentor Group”, Ms. Zhou Fang, Chairman of Xinzhi Bio, will strengthen communication and cooperation, jointly build a bridge between school and enterprise, come out of a deep integration road suitable for the development of Ningbo science and technology manufacturing industry, write a new chapter of “alma mater-alumni” community construction, and hope that we will contribute to the school and society construction together.
